Saturday Morning Links & News

I’m in Maine, sitting next to a very cold, very beautiful ocean.

NH’s pissed off @ MA- for trying to force us to collect sales taxes.

Non religious people like living in NH- where living free or dying is preferred. ANOTHER reason I love NH!

Speaking of MA- where the money goes during these hard times? Oh the Gov. is a Democrat.

Daniel Pearl was murdered 7 yrs this ago this past week, and his father pens a powerful piece on this.

Wine for Liberals. BWAHAHAH!!

Americans love their superheroes. Why we cannot embrace our real heroes is beyond me.

Barry says Stimulus is needed to…SAVE JOBS!!! Yet, in said stimulus, plans to hire foreigners. And, where some of the money will go.

…and his approval ratings keep going down!

Gary Swenchonis Jr. was killed in the attack on the USS Cole. His father was summoned invited to meet with Barry; he refused. He explains WHY here.

I find it very interesting to see NH trying to fight off another state in its attempts to enforce MA state laws in another sovereign state. It is another reason why Massachusetts makes me laugh. Texas does have something similar, when you buy a new car out of state, if you register it in state you gotta pay the sales tax on it. Ofcourse, it is only vehicles that really affects. If I were to buy a set of tires out of state, there are not DPS Troopers at the state border pulling people over and looking for sales receipts.

Crunchie over at the Anti-Idiotarian Rott has a post where some NH State legislators have penned a bill rejecting any unconstitutional laws, executive orders or Supreme Court decisions from the Federal Gumbnit. Sure, it won’t every become law, but that fact that anyone has the balls to fire a shot across the bow. Now if we can only get Texas legislators to find their balls and do the same. Perhaps they can borrow NH’s.

Superheroes. I love ‘em. Certain ones that is. They’re fun. Ofcourse, I’m not in the delusion that our armed services are baby killers either.

Barry’s approval ratings? They were sky high artificially, based on soaring rhetoric and “Hope and Changeā„¢”. Now the honeymoon is over, his mask has slipped, and he’s mistaken his election as a mandate for the introduction for large grabs of further socializing our country.

The USS Cole and Obama. Anyone surprised?

Thanks for the LinkyLuv, Raven! I may have to go to fricking cold Meadville, Pa, in a day or two if our peeps strike. Don’t even have a real cold weather jacket! I wonder if Barry will provide?

As for Mr. Swenchonis, i don’t blame him, particularly with Obambi dismissing all charges against al Nashiri.

    Our fearless leader has returned.

I watched many a cartoon hero when I was a kid. Superman, Mighty Mouse and Underdog, just to name a few.

So that $800 billion of government spending is supposed to save jobs? You mean like th last $800 billion spending bill did? Oh, wait….

We’ve had a pretty mild day here in MD, after about a week of bitter (by our standards) cold.

I think that Barry is in a dilemma, largely of his own making. Continue the Bush anti-terror policies, and risk angering his base and world opinion, or abolish them, and assume the risk always inherent in trying new policies.

Duncan, NH will win this fight. Trust on it. LOL. MA has lost this before a battle even begins.

I’ve never really been into Superheroes. I can’t think of one that I ever liked. I’m more into science fiction type personalities and “heroes”.

Right now it’s a nice hot 53 degrees! At 6am!! I love it.

  5. Raven Says:

Teach! You should get yourself a real coat, from LLBean. They make many varieties for all sorts of weather- and several can modified to bitter New England weather as well as warmer NC, PA weather. Zip out layers and such, rainproof, all designed to keep one warm by certain degree ratings. I have several coats and jackets and fleece from them. They last forever too!

  6. William Teach Says:

I know, I need one, but have kept putting off since it is necessary down here for maybe 3-4 days a year.
