Patriotism suddenly was in again. Flags and red, white and blue were THEE colors. Yet so many others see the death of the nation, in vivid black color. Wow. I am so ashamed of our elected so called leaders, and the stupid people who follow them blindly. It’s so surreal to know that many truly believe America was reborn on Jan 21 when the BarryMan took the oath. Patriotism suddenly was in again. Flags and red, white and blue were THEE colors.

The end of the "American Empire" is indeed at hand. Will we still have some inflluence. Sure. But we're fiscally and morally bankrupt as a nation. The 20th century was the American century. But we've got our politicians promising ever growing entitlements with no way to pay for them except either a reduction of benefits (not good for reelection, which is all our pols are concerned about anyways) or a (patriotic) increase of taxes. Nothing changes in D.C., except the size of gubmint. The place is worthless. The slow slide towards European-style socialism continues. The end of the “American Empire” is indeed at hand.
