Can’t afford a cell phone? No problem!

A few weeks back, Duncan showed us a view of Obamaworld, where someone who apparently couldn’t afford to buy his own food could still have his own cell phone, one that could even take pictures. This apparent contradiction will soon be put to rest, as “income eligible” people will soon be able to receive their own government-subsidized cell phones. So if you’re eligible, get your taxpayer-funded cell phone, and then go take your own picture of the First Lady.
Hmmm, is this part of the “stimulus” package?

But it’s right there in the Constitution, don’tcha know? Article something or other says flat out the guvmint is to supply all citizens with plowshares, kettles, vittles, transportation and cell phones!
Geez, if you guys would only read the Constitution…

Raven, it would be nice if this were a hoax. But so far, it doesn’t appear that way.
Carlos, it must have started out with that “chicken in every pot” thing a few decades back.

Well then soon enough it’ll be that every citizen gets a computer, an IPOD, a car, a house…oh wait- we’re already there in some cases.
Sick. Our government is eating us up alive as we sit back and allow it to do so. All we need to do is stop working to become “income eligible”. It’s out duty to NOT work now, so we can enjoy all these perks once reserved for those who spent their money wisely.
