Ed Morrissey reports that Senators want an explanation. HELL, I WANT ONE TOO.
Is Obama using too many czars? We need a czar to oversee this.

I think the definition of torture has changed over the years. Or, it’s not the same for individual people. To me, torture would include ripping off fingernails, pouring boiling water onto a person’s chest, suspending them over a pile of hot coals, stretching people apart…you know, Hollywood movie stuff we’ve all seen. Insects in a box don’t cut it. Standing in the same positions for days don’t CUT it, for me. Are these uncomfortable? Yes. Are they physically harmful to people? NO. So the left can have their hissy fits galore, but for many average Americans, all this hoop-dee-poop is over nothing. As one person put it, soon enough liberals will tell us being forced to go a week without a cell phone constitutes torture, as would depriving one of their daily dose of Starbucks. It’s all in how one looks at it…perspective and expectation.
Ya think? Race baiting continues. From an early age.
The writing exercise did not mention race, but previous research has found that reminding minorities of stereotypes can worsen their performance on a variety of tests.
Fercryinoutloud, NH: 9.5 miles of a paved and well functioning highway is about to be repaved, using $7.8 million stimulus dollars, and will provide roughly 50 jobs…hmm…it doesn’t take long to do this job either. So these jobs are not going to last. Oh I forgot…a few folks have the pleasure of making the fancy signs that go with this project.
I believe children learn what they live. I also believe that in order for this learning to happen, children need to be brought up to expect some teasing and meanness from others. It’s life. We can’t have silly laws aimed at protecting every perceived word, touch and thought. We can’t keep on shielding the kids from reality.

So far, at least in the minds of Zero and his sycophantic minions, the only “wrongs” committed by the team have been to get caught doing exactly what they’ve accused “the right” of doing for decades. Problem is, now that they’re being caught red-handed they’ll tend to be even more secretive (a la Nixon) about their unscrupulous and often illegal activities.
To them, when they get caught the crime isn’t the action, it’s the getting caught. When a conservative does the exact same thing, the crime is both the action and the cover-up.

They are pulling the same crap here in the Triangle area, repaving and such, putting up new transit buildings. Supposed to put 6,000 people to work. So, I guess we are going to have 40 and 50 year olds who used to work at IBM and Nortel, among others, turned into blue collar pavers, and having heart attacks, all for The Ones vision.
Say, I wonder if The Messiah realizes that increased paving reduces earth cover, and increases temperatures around the paved areas?

Speaking of which, WT, that is one of the reasons “global warming” has been occurring in our country the “last few decades”. When the measuring instruments were originally set up, they were placed “far” from population centers but close enough to access easily. In the intervening years people have surrounded many of them with housing and businesses, and where they once measured relatively far from humanity and all its heat-producing sources, they now measure temperatures, pollution, etc., in the center of it all.
How convenient for Algore, the original “American Idiot”.
