We arrived on the day of the Marathon, after it was over. Although it was a Monday, finding a restaurant with some available seating was pretty difficult. Actually, the second paragraph implies that progressive protesters are young and useful subjects. I beg to differ. From the protests I've seen the only thing they're useful for is to protest, frequently violently, and they certainly are productive members of society (meaning they don't produce anything of value).
