Hey lefties, this is what I would consider “torture” and “war crimes”! (crickets chirping)
Posted by Duncan on April 26th, 2009
With all of the faux outrage at American torture of detainees worthless terrorists scumbags, Brian over at Six Meat Buffet found an article of some actual, real, what I would consider torture…
The soldiers were responding to a tip-off that the eldest of the three, who was in her forties, had been indoctrinating women to sacrifice themselves in Chechnya’s ferocious war between Islamic militants and the Russians. The others captured with her were her latest recruits. One was barely 15.
“At first the older one denied everything,” said a senior special forces officer last week. “Then we roughed her up and gave her electric shocks. She provided us with good information. Once we were done with her we shot her in the head.
“We disposed of her body in a field. We placed an artillery shell between her legs and one over her chest, added several 200-gram TNT blocks and blew her to smithereens. The trick is to make sure absolutely nothing is left. No body, no proof, no problem.” The technique was known as pulverisation.
The young recruits were taken away by another unit for further interrogation before they, too, were executed.
And the war in Chechnya was brutal, with the Islamic fanatics taking captured Russian soldiers and butchering them on video. I’m not sure if these Spetznaz guys are being for real or if they’re the Russian version of Scott Beauchamp. But given the brutality on the both sides, I’m more inclined to believe it.
As far as how this affects America, remember when our soldiers bodies were brutalized and butchered. Remember when we made detainees at Abu Ghraib get naked and make a man-pyramid and used dogs to scare them? Remember when we pretended to electrocute them? Remember? And the advanced interrogation techniques the left continuously props up as crimes against humanity and torture? Where were their cries of torture as our servicemen and women went through similar “torture” as part of their training? (Note: The left then dismisses SERE training because the trainees know it will end and it isn’t to the same “level” as to cross the magical “torture line”. How very convenient for them to draw that line in the nuanced sand.)
While I don’t necessarily believe in the actions of Abu Ghraib, they didn’t make our enemies want to chop our heads off any more or less. They just used it as an excuse for their perpetual outrage. And the left is joining America’s enemies in spreading the propaganda while ignoring, or paying lip service to and then dismissing as our fault as well, the atrocities of the other side.
H/T Six Meat Buffet.
Almost immediate UPDATE: Here is a link to a manual on torture, proof that indeed there is a plan to torture in this War on Terror. And here, and here. See the rest. I demand an immediate cry of outrage of Pelosi, Reid and Obama, as well as MoveOn.org. (crickets still chirping)

If you ever overcome your bigotry you’ll realize that this doesn’t justify what the U.S has done. And by the way, why don’t you look up the Amnesty International Report on Russian activity in Chechnya, it might help you break out of this simplistic Islam=Satan mindset.

Oh… the leftist cries of “BIGOTRY”… “RACISTS” in order to discount the arguments they don’t agree with. I’m not trying to justify what the U.S. has “done”, as I don’t believe that the “torture” memos discuss “torture” as the left wants to re-characterize/re-brand it as, and the post above was to show that real torture exists, yet the left focuses primarily on the U.S. and specifically on the Bush Administration while, once again paying lip-service to the atrocities of the Russians, Iranians, Palestinians and Al Qaeda. Sure, Amnesty International puts out papers and reports on other countries and organizations, but they realize that those countries/organizations pretty much ignore their insane utterances, and instead AI focuses on the easier to manipulate American government and media. And exactly where did I reference that Islam=Satan? Radical Islam is the enemy, just like the Communists and the Nazis/Imperial Japanese were before them.

young dumbassistist,
What Duncan is saying here is that he does not condone any of the activity we’re hearing about, from American military and CIA. However, it is NOT what he considers, nor do I, to be real torture. There are examples of what real torture is, and all of this recent reporting and memogating represents anything but torture. The Russian-Chechnya example is just one. And I have several friends who survived those times and it wasn’t pretty- and they laugh at this current debate about torture. If only people knew, they say…..

Duncan,
The left is concerned with American and American supported atrocities because THOSE ARE THE ONES WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT. In other countries the left is concerned about atrocities committed by that country while the bigots drone on about American crimes, not because they can do anything about them, but because they hate America. It is the same here. The left is concerned with addressing human rights abuses while the right is concerned with exploiting them to justify their bigotries.
And you have no right to talk about Palestinian excesses. That was like during World War II when the Nazis condemned the terrorism of the resistance. But in Germany, the only ones who had the right to condemn actions of the resistance were those who opposed the regime. In Palestine the only ones who have any right to condemn actions of the resistance are those who are also working against the atrocities of Israel, which eclipse anything the Palestinians have done a thousand fold.
Raven,
Unless you are a professional linguist this issue of semantics should be of no concern to you, and even if you were a professional linguist, it is irrelevant to whether or not what the CIA has done is right or wrong. You can call it torture, you can give it an Orwellian euphemism, you can call it whatever the hell you want, but that doesn’t change the issue.

youngstupidass,
Yes it does change the ISSUE. Just because YOU don’t like it, or agree with it doesn’t mean it’s not THERE. Typical liberal fucktard you are: They who say, “NO it is not an issue” like to think their wish is everyone else’s law. Sorry it doesn’t work like that.
My view that this isn’t torture is as relevant as your view that anything less than kissing the enemies ass is torture…Debate is healthy. Democracies depend upon it. Republics depend upon it as well…
When you dismiss someone’s opinion, you dismiss the person as a useless entity…you become Nazi like in your thinking. And I know many a leftard who are just that. Have a look in the mirror and see past your greasy zits…you might see Hitler if you look close enough. I see him just by reading your crap here.

Ever heard of the First Amendment?
Bull[bleep]! The left calls us righties “bigots” and “homophobes” because we won’t allow ourselves to be subjugated by the “gay rights” movement, but the crickets continue chirping as Iran executes people for being gay.
As far as I can tell, the left is ONLY interested in human rights abuses (or what it sees as abuses) that can be blamed on America. I don’t believe for a moment that crap about “the ones we can do something about”. The fact is, you CAN do something about other abuses. Most countries in the world have an embassy in DC. You can go down in front of the embassy of the offending nation and protest! On the other hand, you probably shouldn’t go into the actual country and protest. You might end up in one of their jails, or worse.

I’m sure bigfoot is “subjugated by the “gay rights” movement” every Friday night. (commence raven’s hypocrisy of free speech in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…..).

Looks like I’m gonna have to be more careful using “big words”. Some immature minds might distort them into something disgusting.

Young_activist and Apple strike me as children who cover their ears and start yelling “LA-LA-LA” as loud as they can when confronted with facts, or even with opinions that differ from theirs.
Sad, but in today’s world all too common the way the left “argues the issues.” Again, it’s like a blind man calling the balls and strikes in a ball game. He may be right occasionally, but only by accident because he has no basis in reality from which to make his calls. Just like the left.
