It’s raining here today. It will be doing so all day, into tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. We need it- the grounds are dry and the fire risk high. I like it- rain…it’s calming, soothing and is music to my ears at bedtime.
Her compelling story qualifies her as a member of the SCOTUS? Hell, then, MY compelling story should qualify me too!! Those who know me, and who are liberal, HATE it that I refuse to be a victim and USE it to gain special favor.
Uh oh! IRS income drops
Er make that revenue.
Via The Natural Truth: Sotomayor and the New Haven fire fighters case. Uneffingbelievable.
Saying “hello” to a female Muslim is offensive?
Hmm. Partisan Chrysler dealership closings? I dunno…I think folks are looking for a conspiracy and by doing so, they are indeed making one.
Sinking a WW2 ship so it can become a coral reef.
Since so few bond holders have any faith in GM’s value, why should ANYONE else? Esp our government? The fate has been sealed. GM cars will be built in China and other foreign lands; the UAW people will be unemployed and MANY Americans will not buy GM again. I really hope we’re not getting screwed here but I suspect we are.
What if Bush had done these things? He’d been crucified!

If you think Obambi/Biden have made all the possible gaffes in the first 14 weeks, stand by. The next 14 weeks will see the descent of decorum to a low even the libs couldn’t accuse the W admin of (not that they didn’t try).
And, as for the “test”, to borrow a phrase from old cowboy flicks, “White man speaks with forked tongue.” Oops, that can’t be right, but if I put in the correct nomenclature for describing our glorious leader I would certainly be accused of racism, tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.

I always get a kick out when we sink ships to create reefs. The same environmental wackos who are always talking about letting nature be dearly love these types of things.
They are pretty cool and all, I’m not against them, but, they are artificial. They also create a great place for spear fisherman.
PS: I wonder when Dear Leader will declare an “unlimited national emergency?”

Carlos to say anything negative about His Royal Highness is to be racist. We all know it. Good thing we still have free speech though…cause I think he’s a race bating, narcissist bastard who has no business running a country. He’s dumb, naive, stupid and dangerous. He’s an asshole. And he does not have my respect and never will. I hate him. Totally.
There…I’m racist. And damn proud of it. (Did I mention his color anywhere though?)

William, the Gulf of Mexico has a bunch of old oil rigs, which the oil companies had planned to dismantle. But they had provided such good habitat for marine life that the government asked the oil companies to keep them up. As a bonus, they also provide great fishing areas. Yet, many enviros and the FL government oppose more drilling because it’s allegedly bad for the environment.

Reading all the chatter about this administration is equivalent to standing in the rain and wondering why were getting wet. Tons of theories, experts called, noted high level politicians queried, shock and awe and we stand there in the rain.
Congress is the only answer. They make the problems and they also think up the solutions. Try screaming at your congressman and see how far it gets you. They have a staff that handles the public and if you’re lucky you might get a form letter that used to get. It’s all buzz folks so take notes, pictures, videos and prepare for 2010 but be armed with the facts because we are going to need them.
