Thinking Meat- he who beats his meat and does no thinking, proves again his inability to fully read posts he links to. I wonder if he read the SUBSTANCE in the article?? I bet he didn’t… I just got a track back from the Jergens-Lotion-loving, Mountain Dew drinking nerd for this post. The Meathead takes issue with my reference to an article published at the NYT.
Raven again demonstrates that she is a bottomless pit of ignorance. Referring to Barack Obama, she says….
[...]
Obama’s detailed policy proposals have been available on his website for some time. But knowing that would threaten Raven’s ability to continue to make such jaw-droppingly ignorant statements — and that is a privilege she is just not willing to give up.
Hey Meaty? I linked to an article and gave my opinion. Apparently I’m not the only one who has this opinion, otherwise I doubt the article would have ever been written.
No. Really, Meaty.
Let’s look at some of the SUBSTANCE in the NYT article:
Mr. Obama has run for the last 18 months as the candidate of hope. Yet party leaders — while enthusiastic about Mr. Obama and his state-by-state campaign operations — say he must do more to convince the many undecided Democrats and independents that he would address their financial anxieties rather than run, by and large, as an agent of change — given that change, they note, is not an issue.
Uh huh. Did you get that, Meathead??
“I particularly hope he strengthens his economic message — even Senator Obama can speak more clearly and specifically about the kitchen-table, bread-and-butter issues like high energy costs,” said Gov. Ted Strickland of Ohio. “It’s fine to tell people about hope and change, but you have to have plenty of concrete, pragmatic ideas that bring hope and change to life.”
Or, in the blunter words of Gov. Phil Bredesen, Democrat of Tennessee: “Instead of giving big speeches at big stadiums, he needs to give straight-up 10-word answers to people at Wal-Mart about how he would improve their lives.”
Oh my. Meaty, what’s your answer to this? Go to Obama’s web site? Where more hope and change is written but no details are shared? Where ideas are a plenty, but no ways or means to meet the end?
“I think Senator Obama is a motivational speaker, but at the end of the day I don’t think that will translate into votes, and certainly not the image of strength that Ronald Reagan had,” said Jim Greer, the chairman of the Florida Republican Party.
Exactly.
“I would really like to see him do things in Tennessee that would help in other working-class and blue-collar places, like Ohio,” Mr. Bredesen said. “Job security and health care are huge here. He needs to come to the aisle of Home Depot and show them that a Harvard graduate — which I am as well — knows how to help them.”
Yep…I agree.
Gov. Bill Ritter of Colorado, the host of next week’s Democratic National Convention, said Mr. Obama needed to hone and amplify his plan to create more jobs if he wants to woo undecided independent voters, who make up the largest bloc of the electorate in the swing state.
You see Meaty, I linked to an article that shows us many people have not made their minds up for who to vote for. That shares actual quotes from Democrat leaders. Actual words. With advice. With concrete ideas that Obama could follow through with to win over people’s confidence. In other words, SUBSTANCE.
Meaty is an idiOt who rarely reads articles others link up and post about. He is the bottomless pit of ignorance AND arrogance. As with most liberals, this is a perfect example of why they are, the way they are: jaw-droppingly ignorant.

That’s right folks, I’ve been officially designated as Sadly, No’s New Wingnut of the Week
YES!
Ofcourse, the author of the post who bestowed this wonderful honor upon me, Clif, does a pretty lousy job of fisking me.

In a perfect world, I’d be pulling for my Dallas Cowboys to beat the ever-lovin’ stuffin’ out of Brady and the Patriots. However, Tony Romo probably had more than his mind buried in some blonde ditz and had trouble beating the Giants for the third time this season. (Okay, the Giants just outplayed the ‘Boys that last game, but it sounds better to blame Jessica.)
So, since I can’t root for Dallas, I have to root against the Patriots and that cheating coach of theirs. Plus it would be neat for Eli to win a Superbowl too.

GO NEW YORK!!!!!
