Happy Dance in Virginia

Posted by Bigfoot on 11th November 2009

John Muhammad, mastermind of the “beltway sniper” attacks that left 10 people dead in Maryland and Virginia in 2002, was executed at 9:00 PM Tuesday night, by lethal injection. He was convicted and sentenced to death in Virginia for the murder of Dean Harold Meyers, who was shot at a gas station in Manassas.

“He died very peacefully, much more than most of his victims,” said Prince William County prosecutor Paul Ebert, who witnessed Muhammad die by injection at 9:11 p.m. at Greensville Correctional Center, south of Richmond. Muhammad, dressed in a blue shirt, jeans and flip-flops, had no final statement.

Until Muhammad and his accomplice Lee Malvo were apprehended at a rest stop in Maryland, the general public seemed unaware of how many perpetrators were involved in the attacks. Most news outlets simply refered to a “beltway sniper”, apparently assuming that only one gunman was involved. Some reports mentioned a white van being present near some of the places where the “sniper” struck, but their vehicle turned out to be a Chevrolet Caprice, its back seat able to fold downward to allow a person to enter the trunk from the inside the car, an arrangement also used during the 1990’s by terrorists in Northern Ireland. The gun was aimed through a hole in the trunk’s wall. Malvo, who was 17 at the time of the attacks, is serving a life sentence.

This execution of John Muhammad leaves me with two regrets. First, it’s too bad that Virginia law doesn’t allow execution by firing squad, and thus make the punishment fit the crime. Second, even though Muhammad has now undergone the most severe penalty possible, there is still no way he could ever have paid for all 10 of the lives that he and Malvo took. In that sense, true justice cannot be achieved.

Belated Happy Dance Time!

Posted by Duncan on 17th October 2009

happy dance

Three scum-sucking pus-bags who murdered innocents in the last 4 months have breathed their last.

In Texas, if you kill someone… we kill you right back….

Christopher Bernard Coleman, 37, was executed by lethal injection on 22 September 2009 in Huntsville, Texas for the drug-related murder for hire of three people.

At around 2 a.m. on 14 December 1995, Coleman, then 25, Enrique Mosquera, 30, and Derrick Graham, 26, drove to the end of a dead-end street in Houston and stopped. Soon after, another car arrived and parked behind them. The second car had four occupants: the driver, Jose Garcia-Castro; his girlfriend, Elsie Prado; her brother, Heimar Hurtado; and Prado’s three-year-old son, Danny Giraldo. Coleman, Mosquera, and Graham then approached the second vehicle. One of the men spoke to the occupants of vehicle, then began shooting into the car. He fired eleven shots, killing Garcia-Castro, Hurtado, and little Danny.

Stephen Lindsey Moody, 52, was executed by lethal injection on 16 September 2009 in Huntsville, Texas for the murder and robbery of a man in his home.

On 19 October 1991, Calvin Doby, 29, Lloyd Larrieu, 49, and Melvin Ellis drove to the Houston home of Larrieu’s drug supplier, Joseph Hall, 28. After some discussion about robbing Hall, Doby telephoned Moody, then 34. About an hour and a half later, Moody and Doby met at Hall’s house. They then forced their way inside and demanded money and drugs from Hall. While Hall pleaded for his life, Moody shot him at close range with a sawed-off shotgun. Moody and Doby then fled with $1,200 in cash. About 45 minutes later, they met at Ellis’s house to divide the money.

Terry Lee Hankins, 34, was executed by lethal injection on 2 June 2009 in Huntsville, Texas for the murder of his wife and stepchildren.

On Sunday, 26 August 2001, Hankins, then 26, shot his 34-year-old wife, Tammy, in the head with a .45-caliber pistol while she was sleeping in their trailer home in Mansfield, near Fort Worth. The next day, Hankins killed his stepchildren, Kevin, 12, and Ashley, 10, in the same manner.

Ofcourse, in the much more enlightened progressive areas of the country, these guys would continue to suck down good oxygen, and contribute to global warming by putting out a pollutant called CO2, so look at it this way hippies, we’re trying to save the planet here in Texas…..

I forgot to do the Happy Dance!!

Posted by Duncan on 24th November 2008

I’ve been remiss in my duties to report that another scumbag is no longer sucking down valuable oxygen and converting it into environmentally damaging CO2! (And you thought I did not care about the environment.)

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Convicted killer Robert Jean Hudson was executed Thursday night for fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend after he beat down the door and barged into her Dallas-area apartment nearly a decade ago.

Mr. Hudson repeatedly expressed love to his wife, who is from Belgium, and a friend who watched through a window and ignored four relatives of his victim as they watched through another window into the death chamber.

“I will take you to heaven with me,” he said from the death chamber gurney. “I will always be with you.”

“Now pray with this young man down here and we’ll go,” he said, nodding to the chaplain who stood at his feet. He said the Lord’s Prayer and concluded by again expressing love. “I am yours and we are one. Let’s go, warden,” he said.

What a saint… did not even address his victim’s family. I am practically just shedding tears here folks. Blubbering like a baby. And this wonderful man not only murdered a woman, but seriously wounded her son, a child.

Edith Kendrick, 35, was killed and her 8-year-old son seriously wounded in the 1999 attack in Mesquite.

Hours before the execution, the nine-member U.S. Supreme Court denied Mr. Hudson’s appeal.

Chief Justice John Roberts did not participate in the decision, and Justices John Paul Stevens and Ruth Bader Ginsburg would have granted a reprieve.

As they should have. Letting this murdered have a stay would have been ridiculous. And as far as Stevens and Ginsburg are concerned… may they live atleast 4 more years and not retire until Obama is out of office so some real judges can be nominated.

Attorneys for Mr. Hudson didn’t question that the three-time parolee was responsible for the slaying but faulted his trial lawyers for not presenting to a jury mitigating evidence “that this was a crime of passion, and significantly reduced Mr. Hudson’s moral culpability,” Maurie Levin wrote in her petition seeking a Supreme Court reprieve and review.

Jurors never heard about his unstable childhood, a father with drug and alcohol problems, a mother with psychiatric problems and his own psychiatric treatment and medication to control his behavior and anger, Ms. Levin said. (EMPHASIS MINE)

But… But…. But….. IT WASN’T HIS FAULT!! He really didn’t mean to kill a woman and seriously injure her child. Sorry bud. Mad dogs aren’t rehab’d….. just ask Ol’ Yeller….

Time to break out the HAPPY DANCE!!

Posted by Duncan on 6th November 2008

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — A parolee convicted of using coat hangers to strangle a 65-year-old mentally ill man during a burglary of the victim’s house was executed Thursday evening.

“You ain’t got to worry about nothing,” Elkie Lee Taylor told an aunt and a couple of friends from the death chamber gurney. “I am going home. I hope to see all of y’all one day. Lord have mercy on my soul.”

He was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. CST.

Taylor, 46, was condemned for killing Otis Flake in 1993. Flake was found dead — sitting up against a bed, his feet and hands bound and hangers twisted around his neck — by a friend after Taylor and an accomplice were spotted earlier walking away from Flake’s home near downtown Fort Worth.

Taylor was the 15th Texas inmate executed this year and the first of six scheduled for lethal injection this month in the nation’s most active capital punishment state.

The execution came after the U.S. Supreme Court and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals turned down last-day appeals.

Flake’s slaying came 11 days after an 87-year-old man was killed in a similar fashion
. Taylor acknowledged he was involved in both burglaries but insisted a partner was responsible for the killings.

Evidence showed that Taylor had bragged to friends about wrapping a hanger around a man’s neck and that “dead men can’t talk.”

Mr. Taylor, I truly hope you made your peace with the Lord, because you’re getting to meet Him. Unfortunately, you are meeting Him about 15 years too late. Otherwise two innocent men might be alive. Yeah. The ones you killed. Good riddance Mr. Taylor, you’ve been sucking valuable oxygen necessary for grubs and slugs to continue their more productive lives.

Did I mention that I thank God I live in Texas, where we put down mad dogs instead of trying to understand them, rehab them, and then wonder why they come back and bite us again?

Heliberto Chi to die in… 19 minutes!!!

Posted by Duncan on 7th August 2008

UPDATE:

Time for the HAPPY DANCE!

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — An illegal immigrant from Honduras who claimed his treaty rights were violated when he was arrested for a robbery-murder near Dallas has been executed.

ORIGINAL POST BELOW:

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — An illegal immigrant from Honduras who claimed his treaty rights were violated when he was arrested for a robbery and murder lost his appeal Thursday at the U.S. Supreme Court, clearing the way for his execution.

In the second case of its kind this week in Texas, lawyers for condemned killer Heliberto Chi went to the nation’s highest court claiming Chi should have been told he could get legal assistance from the Honduran consulate. He was arrested in California and extradited to Texas to face charges for killing his former boss at a men’s clothing store during a robbery more than seven years ago.

Chi, 29, was scheduled for lethal injection for the fatal shooting of Armand Paliotta. Chi had once worked for Paliotta as a tailor at the store in Arlington, between Dallas and Fort Worth.

The Supreme Court, ruling less than three hours before Chi’s scheduled execution time, rejected his appeal without dissent.

He’s gonna fry baby! And there was no dissent from the leftists on the Supreme Court? How was this different from the Medellin case? Anyways.. I’m saving the happy dance for when the bastard has breathed his last….

Another douche-bag wants a stay of execution too!

Posted by Duncan on 6th August 2008

He is just as guilty as the other, Medellin, but this illegal immigrant (ya know, the ones that want to do the robbing and murdering Americans won’t) thinks he also was robbed of his… “right” to call his consulate.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — When Heliberto Chi showed up at a men’s clothing store in suburban Dallas, he was a familiar face because he’d once worked there as a tailor.

And when he returned after closing time the same evening to say he’d left his wallet behind, his former boss, Armand Paliotta, let him in.

Then Chi pulled a gun.

By the time he fled with a money bag, Paliotta was shot dead and another employee had been shot and wounded. A third employee, an assistant manager, hid beneath a rack of clothes, called 911 and left the phone line open. Chi’s voice was captured on tape as he hunted for the hiding assistant manager, urging her in Spanish to “Come to the front” of the store.

He jumped into a waiting car as police were en route to the Arlington store. The tape would be played for jurors at Chi’s capital murder trial, where he was convicted and condemned.

Chi, 29, from Honduras, was set for execution Thursday evening. He’d be the second foreign-born convicted murderer in Texas this week to die and the second to seek a reprieve because of what lawyers argued were international treaty violations when he was arrested.

Yep. His voice was heard on the 911 tape as he hunted for victims. Oh, and he fled to California after his crimes, and had to be extradited. I am sure he would have ran to Mexico, but alas, he’s Honduran, not Mexican. He’d not be welcome there as Mexico has harsher immigration laws than the U.S. Ironic, no?

Anyways, I am waiting to play the happy dance this Thursday as another murdering scum bag gets to meet Satan, and hopefully has everlasting torment and suffering. Its is the least I can ask for such an upstanding and pure person.

AND IN OTHER NEWS:

Mexican citizens are not outraged at Medellin’s death sentence being carried out, belatedly. Mainly because Medellin was a scum-sucking piece of $h!t. That and the Mexican citizens are growing weary of their own gross violence on their side of the border. Hence some are calling for a return of the death penalty in Mexico. Ofcourse, it is unfortunate that the Mexican Supreme Court has declared the death penalty to be “cruel and unusual”. Turns out they have their own black-robed tyrants.
