This is a small barn on a small farm in southwest MA. It is located on the Housatonic River.

Up my way there are a lot of small family owned farms- one can find fields of produce, barns full of cattle, horses and dairy products. These farms are almost always very well maintained but there are several abandoned places as well. In Vermont one will notice many roadside produce stands along the back routes as well as main highways. In MA, they have farmers markets. In NH we have those as well, and it’s where buy most of my veggies and cheeses. And, this is where MANY folks get their flowers and bushes and other landscaping stuff. I don’t know why but barns tend to be red.
