There is some serious stuff going on in this election.  Acorn, Ayers, Wright, Kahlid, sharing the wealth and other garbage that so many, you would think, intelligent voters are falling for.  Now we have Ms. Erica Jong saying blood will run in the streets if Obama isn’t elected.  We have Grace Jones saying she can’t stand Sarah Palin and we have Obama himself saying you are a hateful scumbag if you don’t want your taxes raised.  Oh, and selfish to boot.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen this kind of demagogue elected before.  In Germany in 1932, in Venezuela in 2006, in Argentina in the ’40s and in this country in 1976 (Hitler, Hugo, Peron and Carter for those of you who are historically challenged).  And yet, here we are again, about to seemingly elect another one.  WTF is wrong with you people?  Have you lost your everlovin’ minds?

If you don’t like McCain, I can understand that.  I’m not fond of the old geezer myself, but damned if I’ll sit back and lightly vote for an empty suit.  My 19  year old cat has more sense than that.  OK, maybe not, after all my cat doesn’t do anything but look cute, lie around all day and expect someone else to feed her.  So, I guess she would vote for Obama after-all if she could vote.

Let me put it to you this way:  Obama says that one of the things McCain will point out is that he’s black and that is supposed to mean that McCain and the Republicans are racists.  Bull!  You can look at Obama and tell that he’s black so if anyone is dumb enough to vote against Obama on that basis alone, he doesn’t need McCain to point it out.  No my friends, Obama is the racist here.  After all, didn’t he just kick off the bus three reporters because their papers endorsed McCain?  The white guy?  Doesn’t that make Obama the racist here?  Obama the black guy kicks off three reporters who have tailed him since this crap began because someone that they have zero control of (their employer’s) endorsed the white guy.  Sounds racist to me.

Then there is the issue of spreading the wealth.  Well, I don’t know about you, but when Obama says he isn’t going to raise my taxes cause I don’t make $250,000.00 I don’t believe him.  And I don’t believe him because he has told so many lies already that anything he tells you can’t be trusted.  Obama promised to accept public funding…he lied! Obama said that in 20 years he hadn’t heard the kind of racist comments that Rev. Wright espoused…he lied! Obama said that Ayers was just another guy in his neighborhood…he lied!  What does it take to convince you nincompoops that he can’t be trusted. 

Obama says he has experience in serving his country.  Bull!  McCain has more experience in serving his country as a POW than Obama has as a U.S. Senator. 

I went and voted yesterday.  It wasn’t for Obama, It wasn’t for Barr, it wasn’t for the Communists or the socialists, it wasn’t for McCain… I voted for Palin, pure and simple!

Mark my words, you idjits that vote for Obama will rue the day you did so and I’ll for damn sure be here to remind you of that fact.

And that’s the way I see it on this side of the Pecos River!

Well, you know that the NYTimes and LATimes and the Washington Post would be screaming!

Imagine if John McCain’s career had been launched at the home of a right-wing terrorist such as Timothy McVeigh. Do you think the media would be shrugging their shoulders?

Of course, there are damn few right-wing terrorists but you know that the NYTimes and LATimes and the Washington Post would be screaming!

Imagine if John McCain were closely associated with a right-wing group that state officials say was actively committing widespread voter fraud running up to this election. Would the media ignore it?

Of course, the VAST majority of voter fraud comes from dead people who vote democrat but you know that the NYTimes and LATimes and the Washington Post would be screaming! In fact, this would be front page news above the fold each and every day. On the other hand, when tabloids didn’t print anything about John Edwards and the New York Times had the whole tawdry extra-marital affair on the front page above the … Oh, wait, it didn’t happen that way.

At least that’s how I see it this side of the Pecos River!

Hey everybody, this here’s the Texas Pundit.  A  Rip-Snortin, Gol-Darned, Gen-U-Wine Texican here to tell it like it is.  I’m no George Bush or Big Hair Perry, I’m more like Texas John Slaughter.  I’m conservative and damn proud of it. I’m a Texas Veteran and was stationed at Fort Polk and Fort Benning where I went to OCS.  I come from a long line of Army folk and I will be damned if I let anyone put down our military on any post I make, so don’t even try.  I don’t ranch, I don’t do Oil, I damn sure don’t do high falutin Houston Style and as far as I’m concerned, JR Ewing was a pansy that deserved shootin’. 

I’ve been invited by the lovely and curvaceous Raven to join this rag-tag bunch of conservative misfits and I aim to take names and kick ass.  If you are one of them libruls you’d best have a good argument up your sleeve cause if you come around me and toss bull shit, I’ll delete your comment or better yet, re-organize it so that Karl Marx will think you are a conservative.

I can’t stand Mr. Obama, he is a damn socialist through and through and even more importantly, he is an empty suit.  He’s like ole George Bush, all hat and no cattle.  I don’t even like Senator McCain as he is far too librul for me.  Mrs. Sarahcuda however is just fine and I expect her to be the Presidential nominee of the Republican Party in 2012 unless John McCain gets up off’n his duff and starts openin’ a can of whoop-ass on Obama.  If he turns in more performances like he did last night he’s gonna lose and this country will survive four years of Obama, but it won’t be nice.

Now, I’m a-willin’ to bet that just because I talk this way, you folk may think I’m some dumb assed hick what wouldn’t know what teat to pull on a cow, but you gotta know that I’m well past drinkin age, I have an advanced degree and have owned corporations.  Still own one in fact.  Not a big one, not a great big money maker, but it’s all mine and that is more than Mr. Obama can say.  I know what it takes to make a payroll, I know what it means to make business mistakes and have to pay for my error.  I know what it takes to help people reach their potential, and by the sweat of their own work, not cause I gave them a handout. 

I’ll be postin on this here blog from time to time, not necessarily any thing regular, and you can catch some of what I say over to my other site The Texas Pundit but mayhap if Miss Raven gives good back-rubs, I’ll stick around here.  Oh, and I’ll be usin’ regular English too, this was just an exercise in showin’ y’all my gen-u-wine Texas Bonafides.  We clear on ‘at?
