In the spirit of reaching across the aisle, we owe it to the Democrats to show their president the exact same kind of respect and loyalty that they have shown our recent Republican president.

"We'd follow you to Hell, sir, but you damned sure didn't go that direction."
Remember, fellow conservatives, we all have the right to disagree with President Obama, but let’s be careful about getting too bent out of shape. After all, ill-chosen words can sometimes inspire political violence, you know.
Imagine a county in Mississippi in which around 80% of the voters of a certain political party are white, with the rest being black. The party’s chairman for the county is white, and has a history of attempting to disenfranchise these black voters.
Let’s say this chairman has done the following things:
Publish in a local newspaper a list of black voters whose eligibility he intended to challenge if they tried to vote in an upcoming election.
Tried to ensure that absentee ballots from white voters were automatically counted, even if they did not comply with Mississippi law, while disqualifying absentee ballots from black voters, if the ballots had the same deficiencies.
Recruited white individuals to run against black incumbents, despite knowing that these whites did not meet the local residency requirement.
Refused to appoint blacks as poll workers.
Sent out party workers to white voters to give them unrequested “assistance”.
Openly stating that “all of the county’s elected officials should be white.”
Before an election years earlier, wrote an open letter to county voters that included the slogan “Keep hope alive. Vote white in ‘95.” Read the rest of this entry »
I’ve remained quiet on the first, of many I suspect, scandals involving Barry Hussein and Co.
The RNC has released a video that shows a connection:
Ofcourse, most people on the left refuse to dig deep to find more links that connect all these people. The left lives in a dream world where their Magical Mystery Man is perfect.
The Man-Who-Would-Have-Been-Elected, John McCain, shows me why I should not have voted for him:
In a surprising rebuke to the warriors who fought for him through tough times, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday sided with President-elect Barack Obama and scolded the Republican National Committee for fanning the Illinois corruption scandal.
On ABC’s “This Week,” host George Stephanopoulos asked: “The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Mike Duncan, has been highly critical of the way President- elect Obama has dealt with this.
“He’s had a statement every single day, saying that the Obama team should reveal all contacts they’ve had with Governor [Rod] Blagojevich. He says that Obama’s promise of transparency to the American people is now being tested. Do you agree with that?”
McCain replied: “I think that the Obama campaign should and will give all information necessary. You know, in all due respect to the Republican National Committee and anybody — right now, I think we should try to be working constructively together, not only on an issue such as this, but on the economy stimulus package, reforms that are necessary. And so, I don’t know all the details of the relationship between President-elect Obama’s campaign or his people and the governor of Illinois, but I have some confidence that all the information will come out. It always does, it seems to me.”
Uugh. one corrupt polcat standing by another. That’s the way in DC. McCain deserved to lose- what an asshole. But I am not surprised. McCain is really nothing more than a hack.
The saga grows in magnitude each day- Governor Blagojevich is as corrupt as they come, and so is Barry and all his merry elves he’s hired to advise him. Especially his incoming chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel.
Five days after Illinois Gov. Rod R. Blagojevich was arrested in a “pay-for-play” scandal, President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team has yet to reveal the name of the “president-elect advisor” mentioned six times in a federal criminal complaint in the case or what the adviser’s conversations with the governor were about.
The silence says a lot.
Mr. Blagojevich was caught on tape saying he wanted the “president-elect advisor” to know what he sought in exchange for appointing Valerie Jarrett, a Chicago lawyer, businesswoman and civic leader who has since been named as a senior adviser in the incoming Obama administration.
Mr. Emanuel had conversations prior to and after the Nov. 4 elections with elected officials and others in Illinois, including the governor’s office, concerning Mr. Obama’s preferred candidates for the Senate seat, according to a Chicago Tribune report. The Washington Times has learned that the preferred list included Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Illinois Democrat; Tammy Duckworth, director of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs; Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan; and Ms. Jarrett.
Bingo. But alas, nothing will come of this. Nope. Unethical activity means little to people anymore, least of all the thugs from Chicago; least of all the man so many just elected to be the leader of the US. Where is the shame?
I will say what many wish to say but darenot:
Obama is most certainly guilty of unethical and illegal activities in this case. No one will admit it. Everyone will do everything to protect their man. But, we all KNOW he’s done something very wrong and wasn’t careful enough to cover his ass. Obama has much to motivate him to do wrong here: His replacement can be very beneficial to his agenda. There is much at stake.
The proof will be hidden. It will be swept under the dirty carpets Obama walks upon. But it will be there. His incoming COS, Sir Emanuel should step down IMMEDIATELY and without question. It would be the right and honorable thing to do. However, honor and righteousness are unknown to people like Emanuel and Barry.
If he stays on, Barry can bet his term will be marred with scandal after scandal. And the American people will forever question his judgment and honesty. Does Barry have the balls to fire his COS???
I wonder exactly how spread out this is (and based on the voter registration fraud evident, well, you get the picture):
I decided to come back and vote a “couple times”. Are you kidding me? Trust me folks, this is more widespread than we want to think about. Especially with groups like ACORN registering FELONS in prison to vote.
Or how about the the Notch voting for Obama, where Mark Steyn noticed something odd:
Re Dixville Notch, several readers point out that the town has 19 registered voters.
Yet 15 voted for Obama and 6 for McCain. Which adds up to…
You gotta admit that Acorn operation’s pretty thorough.
One that is as powerful as the United States Military? Now why would Barack Obama be pushing for that? Yep, I’ve gone Godwin on you, but hey, it is all in the name of security, so it can’t be all bad, right libs (yeah, I’m talking to you guys who lamented the Bush Administration’s moves to increase security, claiming loss of freedom. Bush didn’t create his own “civilian” defense organization out of whole cloth either)? But if the jackboot fits….
Something else we can look forward to under a President Hussein administration, one full of Hope and Change, a “civilian” paramilitary security force, not hampered by that darn ““posse comitatus”:
Ohhhhh boy, here we go….
(Note to President Senator Obama, we already have a citizen-soldier defense force, it’s called the National Guard.)
(hat-tip to Drudge, though I remember this from a while back. Good as time as any to bring it back up)
Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can’t release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying “Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine” plus there’s been “genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis.”
It would be really controversial if it got out. Tha’s why they will not even let a transcript get out.
Well, well, well. That would indeed be a problem for The One Who Will Unite Us All If We Only Elect Him™. Better for the LA Times to just sit on this story, atl east until he’s been elected and sworn in of course. And I love their reasoning on this:
“The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it,” said the newspaper’s editor, Russ Stanton…
Also, this could be a complete lie and fabrication. Perhaps the tape is nothing more than Obama giving a typical speech filled with platitudes and positions that he can easily shift to and from like the ever changing wind. It really could be that.
But is anyone else finding it hard to believe that the LA Times would sit on something like this unless it would SEVERELY damage the Obama Campaign, probably irretrievably, this close to the election. And that the LA Times would take the full brunt of liberal hate for doing so, which probably would include full scale riots and the physical destruction of their offices without police protection. Seriously. If the above were true, Obama would be done in. He’d be finished. If it weren’t true, then why hide it so ferociously?
Seriously, prove us wrong LA Times. Prove us wrong. Not asking you to try and prove a negative. You have the evidence in your hot little hands. If it comes out afterwards that this is indeed true, the media in this country, and particularly the LA Times, will have lost complete relevancy, and any integrity (no matter how little) they have, as a journalistic organization and become, officially, a mouthpiece for Barack Obama and Co.
the issue is “quick, how do we cover up and hide The One’s answer to Joe so that people won’t recognize that he (Obama) is an unrepentant socialist and/or marxist?”
At least thats how I see it on this side of the Pecos River!
I’ve read with interest your attempts (via your campaign organization) to stifle ads and other communications that are negative about you. You call them lies and dishonesty, but they are, in essence, just negative ads. I’m sure you have a college degree and law school degree behind you, but I’m not sure you learned anything. Let me help you out here: First, the Constitution of the United States guarantees me that I am free from government censure because I hold certain views and express those views in a non-threatening way. Secondly, and you really must have done poorly in your American History classes not to know this, but campaigns are by their nature negative and cantankerous. Everyone running says something negative about the other guy.
This means, my dear Senator, that your attempts to stifle the ads in question (and here is one for you:
have only inflamed the blogosphere and are bringing more and more negative attention to you; and well deserved negative attention it is too.
Recently, you and your minions enlisted three individuals in the great state of Missouri to cajole and threaten individuals/stations whoever with prosecution. Well, Senator, this blog is viewable in Missouri, so prosecute my butt if you are man enough! No? I didn’t think so!
At least thats how I see it on this side of the Pecos River!
